ForSenior Citizens

We provide workshops to senior citizens which:

  • Adds more laughter to life:  It does not rely upon jokes or a sense of humour or cognitive function. Anyone can laugh heartily.  It also helps people understand that they do not need a reason to laugh
  • Promotes physical health: Laughter Yoga is a great form of exercise. Laughing increases heart health, boosts the immune system, relieves pain naturally, lowers blood sugar quickly, and frees up deep breathing
  • Supports good mental health:  Lifts depression, frustration and anger. Helps to improve and maintain a positive mental attitude.  Laughter Yoga changes a person’s biochemistry in a way that supports good mental health regardless of their circumstances
  • Increases social interaction: Laughter Yoga allows for strong social bonding with others, for example participating in Laughter Yoga with friends, relatives, fellow residents, care givers and medical personnel improves relationships and develop communication. This development of friendship decreases loneliness and increases quality of life

 

Laughter in Mind CIC is a non profit organisation; our mission is to provide fun flexible interactive training packages and workshops that support improvements in emotion health, physical health and overall well-being to all.

We use a range of tools and techniques building bespoke packages around the needs of the group, individual or organisation. We design each workshop to ensure there  are  positive outcomes, not only for individual participants but for communities and businesses too.  We rely on funding to be able to provide affordable low-cost services to community and voluntary groups.  Donations are always welcome.  Our corporate services are very competitive too!
