Laughter in Mind CIC  provides workshops that bring fun and innovative activities to help improve the emotional and physical health and well-being of participants. From a one-off workshop to a 5 week programme we can help you to improve the happiness and well-being of your organisation.  We specialise in the following areas

All workshops include techniques that support overall health and well-being.  Team building, gentle physical activity, deep breathing and relaxation feature in all.  We work with any organisation with people of all ages and can support your outcomes by designing a bespoke workshop, that is inclusive and tailored to the group.   Whether you require a one-off workshop or a five session programme we can support your group.  Ask us to include an impact report for your funders.

  • Schools and Colleges   Workshops in self confidence, team building, self esteem, motivation, building resilience and stress relief  to support pupils overall well-being,  improve outcomes and be ‘learning ready’.  We also run sessions for school staff teams, supporting well-being, stress relief, relaxation and team development.   • The Workplace   A happy workforce and their motivation to achieve targets and objectives are crucial to success of an organisation. The techniques we use are a quick,  effective, and provide an economical way to help employees manage and reduce stress.  This helps prevent absenteeism from stress-related illness.
  • Senior Citizens   The simple activities  and breathing techniques used help to improve  overall physical, emotional and mental well-being, bring people together and reduce isolation.   Participants tell us that they feel happier and healthier after taking part.  Workshops for senior citizens are carefully structured and fun and  support a range of health conditions such as dementia, asthma and heart health.  The safe activities provide a comfortable form of gentle, physical exercise.   They can be tailored to individual abilities and limitations irrespective of cognitive, sensory or mobility restrictions.
  • Community Groups and Community Events   Our workshops help to build community relations and bring people together.  Whatever the community group, age, size, demographic or gender everyone can take part. Allowing people to forge friendships, strengthen relationships and promoting community cohesion.  A mixed aged workshop will help to bond people, improve relationships between generations and create a sense of achievement – everyone sharing a fun and beneficial activity.   No special equipment or experience is needed.

Bookings and Payment:  

To secure your workshop date we will send you a booking form to be completed and returned immediately to us along with a non-refundable deposit paid by cheque or bank transfer.  Once your deposit is received, you will receive confirmation of the workshop/s date/s.  We will send you an invoice for the full and final payment, to be paid within two weeks after the date of your workshop. Cancellations must be notified to us up to 6 weeks before the booked date, after this full payment will be required.  Please contact us to discuss your booking and payment further.
